Mr. Ray Lee, CFP®
Chairman of Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong

Mr. Ray Lee has been working in financial industry over 13 years of wealth and asset management experience and has been a CFP professional since 2010. He is currently Investment Director at iFast Global Markets (HK) Limited. Prior to the current position, he was previously CEO of Kreis AI Limited, the Fintech Company to integrate AI with investment portfolio management. In the past few years, he devoted himself to promoting financial planning to the public. He is the columnist in Hong Kong Economic Journal, Ming Pao & Oriental Daily. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Mr. Joseph H. L. Chan, JP
Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury
The Government of Hong Kong SAR

Mr. Chan was appointed the Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury on 16 August 2017.

Mr. Chan has many years of senior executive experience in the banking industry. He was a Managing Director in the Global Markets Division of Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, and was a Managing Director in Financial Markets of Standard Chartered Bank.

Prior to joining the Government, Mr. Chan held multiple roles in a number of public and professional bodies, including Vice President of the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts, Director of Hong Kong Securities & Investment Institute, Advisor of the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society, as well as a General Committee member of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Chan was also a member of the Central & Western District Council.

Mr. Chan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Hon) and Psychology from the University of Michigan, USA. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Ms. Cynthia Hui
Executive Director (Members)
Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority

Ms. Cynthia Hui is Executive Director (Members) of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority. Having led a team for six years since 2008 to supervise the trustees and intermediaries in the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) industry, she assumed responsibilities in protecting the interests of MPF scheme members, as well as instigating and overseeing the project to develop an eMPF Platform to standardize, streamline and automate MPF scheme administration processes. Ms. Hui is a qualified actuary and a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia. She has held Appointed Actuary, Chief Actuary and Regional Actuary positions in multi-national insurance firms, and positions with responsibilities for information technology in major financial institutions in Australia before joining the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority in 2005.

Ms. Linda Chan
Director and Founder of INNOVATION AGEING Group

Ms. Chan has more than 15 years’ experience in elderly services and social welfare services. She is the Director and Founder of INNOVATION AGEING Group. Its management team is managing 4 elderly nursing homes and providing services to 400 elders. Apart from the elderly nursing homes, the Group also provides interior design solutions for the elderly with accessibility issues in their home.

Currently, she is initiating a project for advanced elderly villages to further promote the standard of elderly services in Hong Kong. She is also the Vice President of CW Charity focusing on the Care-on call Services for the elderly. She holds a BBA Honour Degree in Marketing from the National university of Ireland, Dublin.

Mr. Xavier Chan
Founder and Chairman of the CWK Global Group

Mr. Chan is the Founder and the Chairman of the CWK Global Group. Apart from the Hong Kong Certified Public Accountant (CPA), his qualifications also included Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), International Financial Crime Prevention Specialist (IFCPA), Certified Public Accountant Australia (CPAA) and Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Before establishing CWK Global Group, Mr. Chan was the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer for an international bank. He was also an IPO and listed corporate expert in Big 4 company in Hong Kong. CWK is one of the registered Public Interest Entities (PIE) Auditors in Hong Kong, which provides auditing services for listed groups and multinational conglomerate companies and has a close working relationship with auditors in the Cayman Islands. In the past 2 years, Mr. Chan participated in multiple projects about elderly home management & service with Hong Kong limited partnership fund structure and offshore fund structure.

Ms. Joy Chen

Joy is Associate Partner of EY Private Greater China team based in Hong Kong. She has over 20 years of cross-border working experiences in family enterprise and family office advisory, mergers & acquisitions, financial audit, due diligence, IPO as well as the related training and business development in Hong Kong, China Mainland and Australia.

She is a member of EY Global Family Enterprises team, experienced in providing tailored solutions to clients with complex backgrounds, including multi-generation families and cross-border family enterprises, with focus on family governance, succession plan, family office set-up and operation advisory. She is dedicated to support entrepreneurs, their family and family enterprises structure their affairs to accumulate, preserve and pass on their wealth and legacy to the next generation in an effective manner; and provide EY NextGen Academy program to the future generation of family enterprise leaders on their individual paths towards success.

Prof. Louis Cheng, CFP®
Dr. S H Ho Professor of Banking and Finance
Director of the Research Institute for Business
The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong

Dr. Cheng is the Dr. S H Ho Professor of Banking and Finance and Director of the Research Institute for Business at the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. He is a member of the Investment Committee of the Hospital Authority Provident Fund Scheme in which he leads the effort in promoting ESG integration for an investment portfolio of about USD 8.74bil (as of March 2020). Dr. Cheng actively engages in ESG and green finance research. In addition to publishing on green bonds, he received a grant from Commerce and Economic Development Bureau, (with a project cost of over HKD 1mil) to conduct ESG training for accountants. He is also a coauthor of a book chapter titled “Fintech Unicorns” in The Palgrave Handbook of Fintech and Blockchain, 2021.

He was a member of the Business Studies Panel (Joint Research Schemes) for the Research Grants Council (RGC). He served as a Council member and a Trustee of the Pension Fund of PolyU. He is currently a member of the Examination Board of The Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong (IFPHK). Dr. Cheng has more than 90 articles published in research journals including the Journal of Finance. Dr. Cheng is an author of Fundamentals of Financial Planning, and the lead author of Financial Planning and Wealth Management: An International Perspective, both by McGrawHill. Dr. Cheng served as a project consultant for various organizations including the United Nations, Bank of China, Investor Education Centre (IEC), SFC, MPFA, Value Partners, Agricultural Bank of China, BCT, Fubon Bank, HKEx, Charles Schwab, Tai Fook Securities, and HKSI.

Prof. David K Ho

Prof. David K Ho, the Chairman & Founder of MASTERMIND, has been a veteran master of serving MNCs, List-Cos & Centuries-Old Family Businesses for over 30 years. He had been parachuted in the corporations’ boards, as the Co-Chairman to tackle unique tasks such as Startups, Leadership Successions, Turnaround situations, and other critical moments of corporations. Prof. Ho created results such as scaling up the businesses and smoothing succession processes. And in particular, he brings in proper corporate governance, family governance and philanthropy governance to corporations to make them built to last. He brought family council into practice for family businesses that created healthy balance among stakeholders.

Mr. Bruno Lee
Regional Head of Retail Wealth Distribution, Wealth & Asset Management, Asia
Manulife Investment Management (Hong Kong) Limited

Based in Hong Kong, Bruno leads Manulife’s entire Wealth and Asset Management retail distribution in Asia. In this role, he is responsible for the delivery of the firm's wealth and asset management business strategy and solutions through various distribution channels, including Manulife’s agency force and intermediary channels across Asia. He also contributes to the formulation of the solutions to ensure they best meet the clients’ needs.

Under Bruno’s leadership, the retail wealth distribution organization provides distribution support on wealth management products to the firm’s agency channels. He also oversees the expansion of the bank partnerships by securing new partners and enhancing the firm’s wholesaling capabilities.

Bruno is an industry veteran with close to three decades of industry experience. He joined the firm from Fidelity Worldwide Investment where he was Regional Head of Retail, Asia ex-Japan. Previous to this, he was Regional Head of Wealth Management, Asia Pacific, Retail Banking and Wealth Management at HSBC in Hong Kong. He has also held senior roles with Invesco and Fidelity Worldwide Investment in Taiwan and Hong Kong, after starting his career with HSBC in Hong Kong.

Bruno holds a Bachelor of Arts (with Honors in Economics) from the University of Calgary, Canada and a Master of Science in Investment Management from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

He is currently member of Executive Committee of Hong Kong Investment Funds Association and Hong Kong Academy of Finance. He is also ex-member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council Financial Services Advisory Committee.

Mr. Herbert Lee
Director and Founder of Imaginativework Fitness and Rehabilitation

Mr. Lee is a Registered Physiotherapist and has been working in the medical and rehabilitation field for more than 10 years. He previously worked at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Baptist Hospital, and different Non-Government Organizations with numerous experiences in different specialities. Currently he is the Director and Founder of Imaginativework Fitness and Rehabilitation focusing on disabled children services at special schools, elderly services, and social inclusion projects.

Mr. Lee is a Physiotherapist Consultant for the Hong Kong PHAB Marital Arts Association and SAM IL Traditional Taekwon-Do Kwan developing on para-taekwondo for disabled in Hong Kong. Also, he is a course lecturer at the Scout Association of Hong Kong. Apart from this, he is a Committee Member of the Hong Kong Developmental Foundation for the Disables, and a Volunteer Physiotherapist for the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee & Sports Association for the Physically Disabled. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Health from University of Toronto, and a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and master’s degree in Manipulative Physiotherapy from Polytechnic University of Hong Kong.

Ms. Michele Leung

Ms. Michele Leung is an Executive Director, ESG Client Coverage of ESG Research in MSCI. Based in Hong Kong office, she leads the ESG business in Greater China. With over 17 years of investment experience, Michele has extensive product knowledge across different asset classes and promoted sustainability investing to institutional investors in Asia.

Prior to joining MSCI, Michele has held previous roles at S&P Trucost, Hang Seng Indexes, S&P Dow Jones Indices, JP Morgan Private Bank, China International Capital Corp and HSBC Broking Services.

Michele is a certified FRM. She holds a BSc in Civil engineering from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, a Master of Science in Investment Management from the University of Science & Technology in Hong Kong, and Graduate Diploma in English & Hong Kong Law.

Mr. Marco Lim
Managing Partner of MaiCapital

Mr. Lim has over 14 years of experience overseeing electronic sales and trading operations in institutional fixed income, commodities, currencies with major financial institutions. Prior to joining MaiCapital, a Hong Kong licensed blockchain-focused asset manager. He was the Head of North Asia Fixed Income, Commodities, Currencies electronic distribution for Goldman Sachs Asia LLC. Mr. Lim is the co-fund manager for Blockchain Opportunity Fund and the fund manager for the Bitcoin Plus Investment Fund.

Mr. Ray Tam

Mr. Tam is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder at Raffles Family Office, a pan-Asian financial advisory firm that caters to the wealth growth and preservation needs of ultra-high net worth families. His role at the company centres on steering its strategic growth initiatives and overseeing its corporate governance function.

Mr. Tam has over 15 years of private banking and leadership experience that has seen him hold senior positions at BNP Paribas and Standard Chartered Bank where he managed global multi-asset portfolios for numerous Asian and European families of international renown.

Mr. Tam holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Manchester in the UK and is a Board Member of Family Office Association Hong Kong.

Mr. Chris Tse, CFP®
Former Chairman of Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong

Chris has spent 10+ years in pioneering investment analytics solutions (index benchmarks, ESG/Climate Change ratings, alternative data and portfolio/risk analytics) to help public/private asset owners and managers as well as regional stock exchanges make better and informed investment decisions by leading APAC regional coverage teams with both FTSE Russell and MSCI.

Before switching his career to the investment analytics industry, Chris had accrued a wealth of buy side experience by taking senior positions at Credit Agricole Asset Management, Franklin Templeton and Manulife where he worked in various areas including fund distribution and investment advisory for both private wealth management and institutional businesses.

Mr. Tse was the Former Chairman of the Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong (IFPHK) that is an affiliate member of an international assembly of the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB).

Mr. Tse acquired two Master degrees, one in Economic Analysis & Policy from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom and the other in Investment Management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) holder and has extensive qualifications in investment and financial risk management. He has been appointed as Honorary Fellow (Portfolio Management and Valuation) by Macquarie Applied Finance Centre, Macquarie University since 2015.

Mr. Dixon Wong
Head of Financial Services and Global Head of Family Office, Invest Hong Kong

Mr. Wong was appointed as the Head of Financial Services at Invest Hong Kong (“InvestHK”) in March 2019 and the Global Head of Family Office in April 2021. InvestHK is the government department and the Financial Services and Family Office teams at InvestHK are responsible for investment promotion and business facilitation, i.e. helping overseas and Mainland financial institutions and family offices to establish or expand their business presence in Hong Kong.

Before joining InvestHK, Mr. Wong held various senior positions in various departments in an international bank for more than 20 years. Before that, he worked in the assurance and advisory department of a big four international accounting firm.

Mr. Wong has a LLB (Hons) degree and a MBA degree from the United Kingdom. He is also a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA, Aust & NZ), Fellow Certified Public Accountant (FCPA, Hong Kong), Fellow Chartered Governance Professional (FCIS/FCG, UK) and Fellow Chartered Secretary (FCS, Hong Kong). Mr. Wong is also a member of HKTDC Financial Services Advisory Committee and Steering Committee member of Asian Financial Forum.

Mr. Jason Wong

Hailed as “the Godfather of SPACs in Asia” in the media, Jason Wong has been the pioneer for Asian SPAC listing in the US since 2014, leading the way in Asia in terms of the number of SPACs launched. Mr. Anderson Woo
