September 2011 The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) 3rd Annual Banking Conference was successful held on the 27th September. The event was kicked off by the Chief Secretary of Administration of the HKSAR Mr. Henry Tang. He addressed the packed ballroom of delegates and highlighted the progress of Hong Kong as the offshore RMB center.

The Singapore FIX Briefing was a full house event and apart from the discussions of the industry issues like High Frequency Trading, ASEAN trading links, the keynote speaker Sir Jackie Stewart, Formula 1 World Champion 1969, 1971, 1973, earned a standing ovation after his speech.
August 2011 Plus Concepts has been appointed to be the event management of 2012’s Asia Oceania Investment Funds Association meeting. Hong Kong Investment Funds Association (HKIFA) is the host of the 2012 series and it is the 17th year of this annual event.
May 2011 The 9th Asia Pacific Trading Summit resembled the trading world it represents: growing, energetic and varied. More than 500 delegates converged on Hong Kong to connect and take in the leading trends in Asia Pac trading. In addition to the heavy weight speakers, the event also featured many video interviews and funny animated skits. Not to be out done, the conference closed with a video recap of the day through the eyes of the ever witty Joel Hurewitz.
March 2011 The India FIX Conference was successfully held in Mumbai on 3 March. FPL hosted this one-day electronic trading conference with almost 300 participants from domestics and international sell-side firms, buy-side firms and exchanges packed the ballroom to listen to the domestics and international speakers to talk about the various aspects of electronic trading in India. With the strong interests from the buy-side on DMA, Algo and SOR, no doubt electronic trading will continue to be a strong growth area in India.
February 2011 Plus Concepts launches the OnDemand Financial Event series, which was founded with strong demands from the industry to have a platform for learning and exchanging ideas. Through working with different partners and industry associations, the OnDemand series cover topical issues in the Banking, Securities and Asset Management sectors. In July 2011, two OnDemand events will be held in China including QDII event in Beijing and Risk Management and Compliance conference in Shanghai.
January 2011 Together with The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB), Plus Concepts will be organizing a luncheon series and the 3rd Annual Banking Conference again. The event will cover a wide range of hot topics in the banking industry. Over 300 bankers from HK, China and Macau attended the last year’s event.
December 2010 With the great success in the last 2 years, Plus Concepts has been appointed as the event manager of the FIXGlobal Face2Face Forums 2011 again. In support of FPL, the events will be held in Shanghai and Seoul on 14 June and 17 November respectively.
December 2010 It’s the third year that Plus Concepts has been awarded as the event manager of the FPL Conferences in Asia Pacific (ex. Japan) again. This year, the FPL Conferences will be held in Mumbai (3 March), Hong Kong (25 May), Singapore (22 September) and Sydney (20 October).
May 2010 “Better Markets, Better Life” - Plus Concepts has been selected as the event manager of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE Euronext) “Better Markets, Better Life” event at the 2010 Shanghai Expo on the 20th May 2010. On May 20, NYSE Euronext will conduct a full-day of special events featuring leaders from China and abroad, including CEOs of companies listed on NYSE Euronext markets in the U.S. and Europe. To begin the day, NYSE Euronext Chairman Jan-Michiel Hessels will deliver welcoming remarks and NYSE Euronext executives will address respective NYSE Euronext business lines during a morning seminar. Afternoon events include a visit by Shanghai Stock Exchange officials, and the day will conclude with Mr. Hessels and Chief Executive Officer Duncan Niederauer hosting the remote bell ringing ceremony with special guests. The remote opening of the NYSE market from Shanghai will coincide with the opening of the NYSE market in New York and will be broadcast live to audiences globally. With the big success in 2009, Hong Kong Investment Funds Association (“HKIFA”) has appointed Plus Concepts again as the conference organizer for the HKIFA 4th annual conference which will be held on October 4th, 2010.

Plus Concepts has been appointed as the event manager of FIXGlobal Face2Face Forums 2010 again this year. The event is in support of the not-for-profit FIX Protocol organization ("FPL"), the global messaging standard body for securities trading, which consists of over 200 member firms which represent the world’s largest institutional asset management companies, brokerage houses, stock and future exchanges etc. This year, the series of events will be held in Mumbai, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai and Seoul.

Plus Concepts has been awarded as the event manager of the 8th Asia Pacific Trading Summit and Australia FIX Conference in 2010 again. The events will be held on 13 May in Hong Kong and 13 October in Sydney respectively.

Plus Concepts has been appointed as the event manager of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association 3rd Annual Conference. The conference will be held on the 29th September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. This half day event will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions and a luncheon.

Plus Concepts has been awarded as the event manager of FIXGlobal Face2Face Forums in Asia. The Forums will be hosted in Malaysia, Korea and China. FIXGlobal Face2Face events are addition educational forums, sanctioned by the FPL Asia Pacific committee, in order to promote the use of electronic trading and the FIX Protocol.
